OCT 25: Today in 1978, Nick Gilder was at #1 with “Hot Child In The City”. He first went to #1 with the band Sweeney, but this was his first solo trip to the top of the charts.

OCT 30: Happy birthday to Grace Slick, born today in 1939!🎂🎤 The singer-songwriter lead Jefferson Airplane and its subsequent configurations of Jefferson Starship and Starship from 1966 to her retirement in 1989. She has since gone on to an art career.
