About Us/What We Sell

About Us/what We SellWelcome to MusicGoldmine! We seek out properly authenticated and one-of-a-kind music memorabilia pieces for music fans and collectors to enjoy. The items we sell range from autographed guitars, albums and photos to handwritten lyrics and other signed objects like microphones and drumheads. Our selection varies according to what we have found available.

Often we'll take a special item, photo or album which has been autographed by the artist, add some photos and other elements and create a framed collectible to highlight the piece.

While the market has created higher prices for many of these autographed items, we also feature some lower-priced collages featuring original backstage passes, guitar picks, photos, along with concert posters and handbills. These are also one-of-a-kind pieces of music history.

Other unique items we sell are Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) Gold®, Platinum® and Multi-Platinum™ record awards. These record award plaques have been produced under tight controls since 1958 in limited numbers and their rarity makes them great collectibles. We may also occasionally carry a record label sales award (referred to as "in-house" awards) or international award if it is particularly interesting.

Almost every item we sell contains a unique, original, historic component. As to authenticity, a cornerstone of our business is to offer authenticated music memorabilia. For this reason every signed/autographed item we sell comes with a third party, top tier authenticator's Certificate or Letter of Authenticity (COA or LOA) with only very rare exceptions. Either way, our item descriptions clearly indicate when an item comes with a COA or LOA and when it does not.

By "third party, top tier" we mean that the COA or LOA we provide with each item is always from an authentication company that is not affiliated with us and which is widely recognized in the marketplace as a reliable authenticator.

We only carry items authenticated by the most respected and recognized authenticators in the industry: BAS (Beckett Authentication Services), JSA (James Spence Authentication), PSA/DNA (Professional Sports Authenticator) and REAL (Roger Epperson Authentication Ltd.-- Roger Epperson also consults JSA on music items). These authenticators are all leaders in the field as recognized by top auction houses, online auction sites such as eBay, and autograph collector organizations.

Occasionally we provide authentication from individual music authentication specialists who provide services to prestigious auction houses such as Christies UK, Bonhams UK, and Heritage Auctions.

The reason we take such care with authentication is that so our item purchasers benefit from having proof of authenticity that is widely accepted in the marketplace.

We also urge anyone interested in authentic memorabilia to pay close attention to items for sale in the marketplace to ensure they are authentic. There are many instances -- including at stores in major malls and on websites across the Internet -- where what is purported to be genuine is simply not.

We also pledge to always provide detailed photos and information about our items. We clearly state, for example, whether a concert poster is an original or a replica, whether concert tickets inside a collage are original or replicas and so on so you know exactly what you are buying.

If you can't find something you are looking for in particular (artist, song, album, genre, era, etc.), contact us since we may be able to find what you are looking for. Just jot us a note on our contact form here or via email at

We are an online-only store based in Las Vegas, Nevada but we would note that we are not affiliated in any way with any of the stores one finds on the Las Vegas strip or, for that matter, any other store or company anywhere in the world. There's only one, and it's right here.

Finally, we also love cool music facts and history and in addition to our daily music history bits on our Facebook page (follow us here) we also feature articles here on our site and in our monthly MusicGoldmine newsletter (subscribe at the bottom of our homepage).

Thanks for visiting! We invite you to take a look around and find your own piece of music history...
