Ringo Starrli

JULY 6: Happy birthday to Ringo Starr, born today in 1940. The English musician, singer, and actor is best known as the drummer for The Beatles. Starr's energetic and innovative drumming style helped shape the sound of the band and contributed to their success. Following the Beatles' breakup, Starr pursued a successful solo career and released several hit songs. He remains a beloved figure in the rock music industry and continues to perform and record music to this day.

Greg Kihn

JULY 10: Happy birthday to Greg Kihn, born today in 1949. He gained popularity in the late 1970s and 1980s as the frontman of the Greg Kihn Band. Known for his energetic performances and catchy rock songs, Kihn had hits like "The Breakup Song (They Don't Write 'Em)" and "Jeopardy." He continues to perform and write music to this day.
