DEC 13: Today in 1967, The Monkees were at #1 with "Daydream Believer". It stayed up top for four weeks and was their last #1 in the U.S. RIP Davy, Michael, and Peter.

Elliott Easton The Cars

DEC 18: Happy birthday to Elliot Easton of The Cars, born today in 1953! 🎂🎸🎤The lead guitarist is also one of the iconic band's founding members. After the band broke up in 1988, Easton went on to work with various artists and released his own solo work. In 2018, along with his bandmates was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
