This collage features four photos from Steely Dan's Can't Buy A Thrill recording sessions in 1972. The photos are part of the Roger Nichols Limited Edition "Through The Glass" Collection. The images in the collection were all taken by Steely Dan's long-time recording engineer Roger Nichols. Some were actually taken through the glass window separating the studio control room and live room, thus the name of the collection. The photos capture candid moments during the process of recording several seminal albums by the group and their elite cast of supporting musicians.

This edition, limited to 100 numbered and signed copies, features four 8" x 12" color photos of Steely Dan founding members Donald Fagen and Walter Becker, founding member and guitarist Denny Dias, guitarist Jeff "Skunk" Baxter, album producer Gary Katz, and Nichols.

The four 8" x 12" prints are matted and framed with acid-free materials to a framed size of  approx. 29" x 23". The collage also has an engraved metal title plate (optional at no cost) reading: Steely Dan, Can't Buy A Thrill Sessions, 1972, along with printed Roger Nichols signature. The collages are hand numbered in pencil out of a total of 100. Note that these photos have been developed from the original negatives, which are over 50 years old, and some small marks and imperfections exist on these prints.

Recording engineer (and photographer) Roger Nichols (1944-2011) was a seven-time Grammy winner who engineered all of Steely Dan's albums from 1972's Can't Buy A Thrill to 2000's Two Against Nature, which won the Grammy for Album Of The Year. He also worked with the Beach Boys, Stevie Wonder, Frank Zappa, Crosby Stills & Nash, John Denver, Al Di Meola, Rosanne Cash, Roy Orbison, Cass Elliot, Plácido Domingo, Gloria Estefan, Diana Ross, Béla Fleck and the Flecktones, Rickie Lee Jones, Kenny Loggins, Mark Knopfler, Eddie Murphy, Michael McDonald, James Taylor, and Toots Thielemans, among others. In 2012, Nichols was also posthumously awarded a Technical Grammy Award by the Recording Academy.
