Steely Dan is an American rock band formed in 1971 by Donald Fagen and the late Walter Becker. Known for their sophisticated blend of rock, jazz, pop, and R&B, the group lAndes hits such as "Reelin' in the Years", "Rikki Don't Lose That Number", "Peg" and more. Renowned for meticulous studio production, clever lyrics, and exceptional musicianship (from many of the best session players in the world), Steely Dan released classic albums including Can't Buy A Thrill, Countdown To Ecstasy, Pretzel Logic, Aja, and Gaucho. After disbanding in 1981, the duo reunited in the 1990s and their 2000 album Two Against Nature won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year.
