April 13 Is Record Store Day

Posted by Lilly Duncan on

One of the coolest days of the year is upon us – Record Store Day!   This year it is being celebrated on April 13th. The intent and spirit behind the day is to celebrate independently owned record stores. The day was founded in 2007 by Eric Levin, Michael Kurtz, Carrie Colliton, Amy Dorfman, and Don Van Cleave. The concept is that each record store plans special events that reflect their community. Queen "Bohemian Rhapsody" RIAA Award Brings $20K

Posted by James Duncan on

On March 16, 2019 a RIAA single award for Queen's classic "Bohemian Rhapsody" brought in the tidy sum of $20,000 in an auction held by Heritage Auctions of Dallas, Texas. Of course the Beatles had already achieved one of the most amazing feats by being...

Oasis Isolated Noel Gallagher Guitars and Vocals

Posted by James Duncan on

Listen to Noel Gallagher of Oasis on all his guitar tracks (acoustic and rhythm electric parts) on their classic hit "Wonderwall". Great parts that add up to make a great track underneath Liam's vocal. And just for extra fun (and because many non-Oasis fans think Liam sings all their songs!), here is Noel's great vocal track from "Don't Look Back In Anger" isolated as well. These videos work in the U.S. but note that they may not work in other countries.
