The first Gold single went to Perry Como for "Catch A Falling Star" earlier that year. Coming to theaters this week is a new comedy-drama entitled Yesterday. Music fans and, in particular, Beatles fans will be intrigued by its premise: The main character, struggling musician Jack Malik (played by British actor Himesh Patel) learns that after a mysterious global blackout -- during which he is involved in a bus accident -- he is the only one who remembers the Beatles and their music.
