The week in music history brought to you by MusicGoldmine.com.

Just a couple of highlights from this week in music history!

APR 6: Today in 1979, The Bee Gees were at #1 with “Tragedy”. It would become the fifth in a string of six consecutive number ones for the legendary group!

APR 10: Happy birthday to Brian Setzer, born today in 1959!🎂🎤🎸 Setzer found success in the early 80s with his rockabilly band The Stray Cats. He later went solo and worked with the Honeydrippers before forming another band, The Brian Setzer Orchestra. (Photo credit:  Marco C [https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/deed.en])
