Just a couple of highlights from this week in music history!
NOV 27: Today in 1981, Olivia Newton-John was at #1 with "Physical." The song would spend 10 weeks up top of the Billboard Hot 100. One thing that everyone remembers is the accompanying video for the hit, which would go on to win the Grammy for Video of the Year.
DEC 4: Happy 70th birthday to Gary Rossington of Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Rossington Collins Band, born today in 1951! The guitarist survived the airplane crash that claimed three of his bandmates and three others. As of today, Rossington is the only original member of the band remaining.
