Knight was one of the original members of the group, which became a pop sensation in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Known for hits like "Step by Step," "You Got It (The Right Stuff)," and "Hangin’ Tough," NKOTB sold millions of albums worldwide, earning legions of devoted fans.
As the oldest member of the group, Knight often took on a calm and grounded role within NKOTB, contributing to their harmonies and performances. Despite the band’s massive success, he stepped away from the spotlight in 1994 after NKOTB disbanded, choosing a quieter life outside the music industry.
