MAY 26: Happy birthday to Stevie Nicks, born today in 1948 in Phoenix, AZ!🎂🎤 In 1975, she along with her then boyfriend Lindsey Buckingham joined Fleetwood Mac. While still in the band, Nicks pursued a solo career in the early 80s with much success. She is the only woman to have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice!

This Week In Music History May 24-30

MAY 28: Happy birthday to Gladys Knight, born today in 1944!🎂🎤 At age 7, she won Ted Mack’s The Original Amateur Hour. That same year she along with her brother, sister, and cousins formed The Pips. Knight would go on to win 7 Grammys for both her solo work and with The Pips. She was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with The Pips.
