MAR 31: Today in 1967, Jimi Hendrix set fire to his guitar live in stage for the first time! The Fender Stratocaster that he burnt that night would go on to sell for over $350,000 at auction in 2008! 🔥 🎸

Blondie Rapture 45 sleeve

APR 2: Today in 1981, Blondie was at #1 with “Rapture”. Famously, it was the first song to go to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 with rap vocals.

John Oates

APR 7: Happy birthday to John Oates, born today in 1948!🎂🎸🎤 Best known as half of the duo Hall & Oates, he has co-written many of the duo’s greatest hits and has sang lead on a few.
