Just a couple of highlights from this week in music history!
MAR 18: Happy birthday to Jerry Cantrell of Alice in Chains, born today in 1966! The band's founder, co-lead vocalist, lead guitarist, and main songwriter hit it big in the grunge scene of the 1990s. Cantrell has continued performing Alice in Chains material along with his solo work.
MAR 16: Today in 1964, the Beatles set a new record by selling 2.1M advance copies of their latest single, "Can't Buy Me Love". It would stay at #1 for five weeks and once it went to #1 the Beatles would hold the entire Top Five of the Billboard Hot 100!
