DEC 11: Sadly, yesterday Mike Nesmith of The Monkees passed away at age 78. 
After the breakup of the band, he continued to create as a writer, performer, actor, producer, and novelist. RIP
DEC 14: Today in 1973, Charlie Rich was at #1 with "The Most Beautiful Girl". The song hit the top of the pop, adult contemporary, and country charts!
