Just a couple of highlights from this week in music history!

SEPT 1: Happy Birthday, Barry Gibb!
Today we celebrate the birthday of legendary singer, songwriter, producer, and Bee Gees mastermind Barry Gibb!
Born on September 1, 1946, Barry became one of the most influential figures in popular music as part of the Bee Gees, alongside his brothers Robin and Maurice. From the disco explosion of the 1970s to timeless classics like "Stayin’ Alive", "How Deep Is Your Love", "Night Fever", and "More Than a Woman", Barry helped create a soundtrack that still gets people moving decades later.
Beyond the Bee Gees, Barry was also a hugely successful songwriter and producer, writing hits for artists including Barbra Streisand, Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers, and Diana Ross. His unmistakable falsetto, songwriting talent, and production skills helped make him a true music icon.
