Marvin Gaye 45 sleeve

SEPT 8: Today in 1973, Marvin Gaye was at the top of the charts with the soul classic "Let's Get It On". Written by Gaye and Ed Townsend, the song would stay at #1 for two weeks.

Pet Shop Boys actually

SEPT 11: This week 35 years ago in 1987, the Pet Shop Boys released "actually" (stylized on the album as "Pet Shop Boys, actually"). It was their second album and produced hits, "It's A Sin", "What Have I Done To Deserve This?", and "Rent". The album would go Gold in the U.S. and Platinum in the U.K.
