APR 30: Today in 1986, Robert Palmer was at #1 with “Addicted To Love”. It was one of the last 45s to receive a million-selling certification by the RIAA. The song wasn’t hurt by a video that was eye catching and played in heavy rotation on MTV.
MAY 2: Happy 70th birthday to Lou Gramm, born today in 1950!🎂🎤 He began his career in the early 70s and would audition in 1976 for the gig in Foreigner. Gramm released his first solo album in 1997 and would leave Foreigner in 1990. He has still performed with them off and on over the years dispite his official departure.
