JULY 14: Today in 1962, the Beatles played their first gig! They appeared at The Regent Dansette and the cost of admission was five schillings - the equivalent of 70 cents😮

JULY 16: Today in 1983, The Police were at #1 with “Every Breath You Take”. It was the band’s only #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and would stay at the top for 8 weeks!
