Here's a unique "music meets sports" item: ZZ Top's late bassist Dusty Hill (1949-2021) was a major music and sports memorabilia collector. This personalized "Dusty" Calgary Stampeders official CFL jersey was signed for him by quarterback Doug Flutie, who played as #20.
Flutie played for Calgary from 1992-95, winning the Grey Cup with them in 1992. He was named the CFL's Most Outstanding Player six times and won three Grey Cups in total. Flutie also played 12 seasons in the NFL, making the Pro Bowl in 1998. Flutie signed the back of the jersey in black marker, writing: "Dusty, you guys are the greatest, Doug Flutie #20, See ya on down the road!" Acquired in auction of Dusty Hill memorabilia arranged by his family.
