Brand new Run-DMC Original Adidas Superstar 35th Anniversary Sneaker Signed by Reverend Run (Joseph Simmons) and DMC (Darryl McDaniels). Designed especially for Run-DMC, this shoe is a prototype that was hand signed by Jam Master Jay and Darryl McDaniels.
The autographs have been authenticated by BAS (Beckett Authentication Services), whose Letter of Authenticity is included and a QR code/serial number sticker appears on the shoe as well. The sneaker is U.S. size 5 and its' design includes JMJ (for the late Jason "Jam Master Jay" Mizell) and Run-DMC logos on the heel of the shoe. Obtained directly from a former Adidas executive to whom the autographs are inscribed. The shoe is in mint condition.
Also included is a postcard signed by DMC that accompanied the shoe sent to the Adidas executive. (While guaranteed authentic, the autograph on the postcard has not been authenticated by any third party authenticator).
