1986 Grammy® Best R&B Song Nomination Certificate presented to Prince And The Revolution for the song "Kiss" from the Parade album. This nomination certificate was personally owned by keyboardist Matt Fink ("Dr. Fink") of Prince And The Revolution.
The track from the Parade album was released as a single and topped the Billboard Hot 100 and charted highly worldwide. The group did end up winning the Grammy Award for the track in the category of Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal at the ceremony in 1987.
Dated 1986, the certificate is displayed in this piece alongside a 45 record of the track. The certificate has been closely examined by an expert intimately familiar with Grammy Award nomination certificates and memorabilia. It is completely authentic and a copy of the letter signed by Matt Fink himself comes with the piece. The certificate can be removed if desired and the piece is framed with an acid-free purple "suede velvet" matte.
Don't miss this spectacular piece of music history, presented to Prince And The Revolution themselves and personally owned by Matt Fink, who was a member of The Revolution and worked with Prince from 1978 to 1991. Fink is a three-time Grammy Award winner.
