RIAA 2x Multi-Platinum Album award for Now 10, the tenth U.S. various artists album of the successful series. Officially titled Now That's What I Call Music, or simply NOW, this compilation was released on Aug. 22, 2002 and certified Platinum by the RIAA on Aug. 27, 2002 for one million copies sold. It's unclear if the RIAA data is incomplete or the award was made as a 2x Multi-Platinum award in error.

This edition included hit tracks from artists Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue, Enrique Iglesias, Marc Anthony, NSYNC (ft. Nelly), Jennifer Lopez (ft Nas), Aaliyah, Ja Rule (ft Ashanti), Musiq, Shakira, Vanessa Carlton, Celine Dion, Blink-182, Lenny Kravitz, Nickelback and more. The album itself reached #10 on the Billboard Top 200 Album chart.

Detailed Item Description: This is a RIAA 2x Multi-Platinum Album award that would have been manufactured in 2002, making it about 24 years old. The award is presented to Steve Kennedy, a record executive who has worked at Columbia Records, Sony BMG, and Verve.

The award is in VG to Excellent condition with a very nice, unique internal "plexiglass pieces" design and only very minor mars on the frame and plexiglass. It is all original with Ill Eagle Enterprises manufacturer sticker.

Notes on the condition of all vintage RIAA awards like this one: Please do not buy this item if you want a brand new piece of memorabilia. These are historical artifacts from the year they were produced. As a result they may show signs of wear. Frankly, if you see a 20 to 50-year-old award purported to be in 100% perfect condition, it might be too good to be true. After all, an antique should have "good' wear. If not, you might want to question the piece.

As to where they came from, they could have been displayed in record label offices, recording studios, artist manager's offices, radio stations, private collector's homes and yes, of course, possibly the artist's or songwriter's home. Typically, we don't know all the places they may have been over the years other than what we've stated in the description.
