RIAA Platinum Digital Single Award for Neon Trees track "Animal" signed on the plexiglass by the group: Tyler Glenn, Elaine Bradley, Branden Campbell, and Chris Allen. The track was released on March 16, 2010 and was certified Platinum by the RIAA on Nov. 16, 2010. The autographs have been authenticated by JSA (John Spence Authentication).
The track became the group's first hit single and it reached the #13 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, #29 in Canada, and it also charted in many other world markets. In addition, the track won Top Alternative Song at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards. By 2011 the track was certified 2x Multi-Platinum by the RIAA for two million sold. Detailed Item Description: This RIAA Platinum Digital Single award is a first presentation award that would have been manufactured in 2010, making it about 13 years old. It is signed by the group on its' plexiglass, and presented to Jim Ryan. It is not known what role Ryan played in the creation or promotion of the single. A unique feature of this award is that it has a slot in which a USB drive containing a digital copy of the single was originally located, as indicated by the arrow. Note that the USB drive is not present in the award.
This award is in VG to Excellent condition with only very minor mars on the plexiglass and frame. It is all original with unopened backing paper and Ill Eagle Enterprises manufacturer's sticker.

Notes on the condition of all vintage RIAA awards like this one: Please do not buy this item if you want a brand new piece of memorabilia. These are historical artifacts from the year they were produced. As a result they may show signs of wear. Frankly, if you see a 20 to 50-year-old award purported to be in 100% perfect condition, it might be too good to be true. After all, an antique should have "good' wear. If not, you might want to question the piece.
As to where they came from, they could have been displayed in record label offices, recording studios, artist manager's offices, radio stations, private collector's homes and yes, of course, possibly the artist's or songwriter's home. Typically, we don't know all the places they may have been over the years other than what we've stated in the description.
