Here's a unique find: Michael Bolton Signature "Bolton Bombers" Game-Used Baseball Bat. Singer Michael Bolton was a major softball enthusiast and he formed a celebrity charity team called the "Bolton Bombers" during the 1990s. The team played many games each year when he was on concert tours including games against a team headed up by MLB legend Barry Bonds. The games reportedly raised up to $1.5 million for charity in a single event.
This official "Bolton Bombers" branded Michael Bolton Signature Louisville Slugger softball bat was owned by Jerry Blair, a record executive at Michael Bolton's record label Columbia Records. Blair played a key role in the success of artists including Bolton, LL Cool J, Billy Joel, Aerosmith, Tony Bennett, Mariah Carey, Ricky Martin, George Michael, Will Smith and many others. The bat is accompanied by a letter of provenance from Blair's son, who later took possession of his father's awards and memorabilia (see image of letter, son's name is redacted on image, buyer will receive unredacted copy).
