Gene Simmons of KISS released this limited edition #11 of 5,000 Gene Simmons Vault in 2016 and this one is personally signed on the top of the case. Housed in a specially designed vault-style road case complete with combination dial, the box set contains 11 CDs with 166 songs from demos made by the KISS vocalist and bass player during his career up to that point (1966–2016). The CDs are all housed in a hardcover, full color book with stories behind the tracks, photos, and more. The box set also includes a Gene Simmons action figure, a book, a medallion, and a special piece from his collection, with this one being a studded wardrobe piece (see images).
This Vault box set was given to a music industry agent and Simmons signed and inscribed it on the top in silver marker to the agent and dated it Jan. 12, 2018. The first name-only inscription has been masked in the photos only for privacy reasons.
One interesting feature is that Disc 3 includes three unreleased demos that Simmons made with Alex and Eddie Van Halen in the 1970s. (Simmons was an early supporter of Van Halen and helped get them signed). Those tracks are "Christine Sixteen", "Got Love for Sale" (both later recorded by KISS for Love Gun) and "Tunnel Of Love", which appears on Gene Simmons' 1978 solo album.
