RIAA 7x Multi-Platinum Award for Kid Rock's Devil Without A Cause album. Released on August 4, 1998, the album went 7x Multi-Platinum for seven million copies sold on March 3, 2000, which this award celebrates.
Kid Rock scored his biggest career success with this, his fourth studio album. Tracks "Bawitdaba" and "Cowboy" were big hits, with the two tracks becoming his first hits to land on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Eminem also raps and co-wrote one track. With significant airplay fueling sales, the album peaked at #4 on the Top 200 Albums chart. By 2003 the album had gone to 11x Multi-Platinum becoming a rare RIAA Diamond certified seller. Detailed Item Description: This RIAA 7x Multi-Platinum award is a first presentation award that would have been manufactured sometime in 2000 making this award approximately 21 years old. This award is presented to Jonathan Lev, a promotions and marketing executive who worked with rock, pop and alternative artists including Kid Rock, Slipknot, Godsmack, Incubus, Nirvana, U2, Pearl Jam, Coldplay, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and many more.
The award is all original with Ill-Eagle Enterprises manufacturer's sticker on its back. This award is in VG to Excellent condition, with only a very minor mar or two on the frame and plexiglass.
