Elvis Presley ELV1S: 30 #1 Hits RIAA 3x Multi-Platinum Album Award. This album of Elvis hits was released on September 24, 2002 and by December 19, 2002 was certified 3x Multi-Platinum by the RIAA. The album was released to celebrate The King's life and musical legacy on the 25th anniversary of his death.
The album was warmly received, rising to #1 upon release on all of the Billboard Top 200 Albums, Billboard Top Country Albums and UK Top Albums charts. It also went to #1 or into the top 10 in many other world music markets. It also was the album to debut the JXL remix of 1968 Elvis single "A Little Less Conversation" that went to #1 on the UK and Australia singles charts, along with those in 22 other countries. This marked the first time the Elvis Presley estate had authorized a remix of an Elvis track. By 2018 the album had been certified 6x Multi-Platinum. Detailed Item Description: This RIAA 3x Multi-Platinum award is for Elvis Presley's ELV1S: 30 #1s album. It is a first presentation award that would have been manufactured in 2002 or early 2003. This award is presented to record distributor Anderson Merchandisers.
The award is a serial number RIAA hologram award in VG condition with a unique frame shape (outlining the #1) and album artwork. It is complete with original backing paper with Ill Eagle Enterprises manufacturer's sticker. The backing paper has been torn in several areas but has been taped to help prevent dust intrusion.

Notes on the condition of all vintage RIAA awards like this one: Please do not buy this item if you want a brand new piece of memorabilia. These are historical artifacts from the year they were produced. As a result they may show signs of wear. Frankly, if you see a 20 to 50-year-old award purported to be in 100% perfect condition, it might be too good to be true. After all, an antique should have "good' wear. If not, you might want to question the piece.
