Chumbawamba Tubthumper album North America Republic/Universal label award. This album, the eighth by UK pop/ska group Chumbawamba, was released Sept. 23, 1997 and while this is not a RIAA award, the album was in fact certified 3x Multi-Platinum by the RIAA on Feb. 23, 1998 for three million copies sold, and by the CRIA for 4x Canadian platinum on Dec. 31, 1999 for 400,000 copies sold there.
The single "Tubthumping" (known by many as "I Get Knocked Down") became a global hit, going to #1 in Canada, Australia and other countries, #2 in the UK and #6 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart. Detailed Item Description: This is a label award that would have been manufactured in 1999-2000 making it about 21 years old. This award is presented to Jonathan Lev, a promotions and marketing executive who worked with rock, pop and alternative artists including Chumbawamba, Interpol, Everlast, Sevendust, Coldplay, Blur, Green Day, Nirvana, U2, Pearl Jam, Coldplay, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and many more.
The award is in Excellent condition with all original components and only very minor mars on the frame and plexiglass.

These are historical artifacts from the year they were produced. As a result they may show signs of wear. Frankly, if you see a 20 to 50-year-old award purported to be in 100% perfect condition, it might be too good to be true. After all, an antique should have "good' wear. As to where they came from, they could have been displayed in record label offices, recording studios, artist manager's offices, radio stations, private collector's homes and yes, of course, possibly the artist's or songwriter's home.
