Released on July 27, 2010, the song was certified 2x Platinum on Mar. 13, 2012 by IRMA (Irish Recorded Music Association) for 30,000 copies sold in Ireland. This 2011 award celebrates sales at 15,000, which would be Platinum in Ireland
The track reached #2 on the Irish chart, and also shared worldwide success charting on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 at #17 and highly on many other world charts. By 2018 the track had been certified 6x Multi-Platinum by the RIAA for U.S. sales of six million.

Detailed Item Description: This Atlantic Records Irish Platinum Single award is dated 2011, making it approximately 12 years old. It is presented to a record industry executive whose name has been obscured in the photos for privacy.
The award is in VG condition, with only very minor blemishes on the metal frame and plexiglass. It has its' original Framous manufacturer sticker and likely has never been hung in that it has its' unopened hanger wire still attached to the backing board.
