RIAA 8x Multi-Platinum Award for Celine Dion's Let's Talk About Love album. Celine's fifth album, it was released Nov. 5, 1997 and certified 8x Multi-Platinum by the RIAA for eight million copies sold on June 10, 1998.
The album featured the massive hit "My Heart Will Go On", which won Grammy awards in several categories: Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and Best Song Written Specifically for a Motion Picture or for Television. Other singles included "Tell Him", "Be the Man", "The Reason", "To Love You More", "Immortality", "Miles to Go (Before I Sleep)" and "Treat Her Like a Lady". The album itself was nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album. The album went to #1 around the world on virtually every country chart. By late 1999 the album became a RIAA Diamond certified seller at 10 million copies sold.*

Detailed Item Description: This RIAA 8x Multi-Platinum award was manufactured in 1998 making this award approximately 27 years old. It is presented to the late Ed Germano. owner of The Hit Factory®, the recording studio in New York City where portions of the album were recorded.
This award is brand new in its' original shrink wrap and is complete with Ill Eagle Enterprises manufacturer sticker on its back.

Notes on the condition of all vintage RIAA awards like this one: Please do not buy this item if you want a brand new piece of memorabilia. These are historical artifacts from the year they were produced. As a result they may show signs of wear. Frankly, if you see a 20 to 50-year-old award purported to be in 100% perfect condition, it might be too good to be true. After all, an antique should have "good' wear. If not, you might want to question the piece.
As to where they came from, they could have been displayed in record label offices, recording studios, artist manager's offices, radio stations, private collector's homes and yes, of course, possibly the artist's or songwriter's home.
