RIAA 10x Multi-Platinum Award for Celine Dion's Falling Into You album. Celine's fourth album was released Mar. 2, 1996 and certified 10x Multi-Platinum by the RIAA (Diamond) for 10 million copies sold on Dec. 9, 1997.
A smash success, it featured the hits "Because You Loved Me" which topped the Billboard Hot 100 in the U.S. and also #1 in Canada and Australia, "It's All Coming Back to Me Now" (#2 in U.S., #1 in Canada), and a remake of Eric Carmen's "All by Myself", (#4 in U.S., top 10 in many world markets). The album won many awards, including Grammy awards for Album of the Year and Best Pop Album. The album went to #1 around the world. By 2021 the album had reached another milestone as it was certified 12x Multi-Platinum by the RIAA.*

Detailed Item Description: This large and impressive RIAA 10x Multi-Platinum Album award was manufactured in 1997 making it approximately 28 years old. It is presented to a former radio program director. Their name has been obscured only in the photos for privacy. A letter of provenance from the recipient will be provided with purchase. Provenance letter can be seen in images with executive's name obscured for privacy. Item buyer will receive a non-obscured copy of the letter.
The award is in Excellent condition with only very, very minor mars on the frame and plexiglass. It is all original with Ill-Eagle Enterprises manufacturer sticker.

These are historical artifacts from the year they were produced. As a result they may show signs of wear. Frankly, if you see a 20 to 50-year-old award purported to be in 100% perfect condition, it might be too good to be true. After all, an antique should have "good' wear. If not, you might want to question the piece.
As to where they came from, they could have been displayed in record label offices, recording studios, artist manager's offices, radio stations, private collector's homes and yes, of course, possibly the artist's or songwriter's home.
