CashBox™ plaque celebrating the Top 100 for week of Sept. 24, 1966. On this week, "Cherish" by The Association was at the top of the chart. Other highlights from the top 10 included the Beatles "Yellow Submarine", The Supremes' "You Can't Hurry Love", and tracks from Donovan, the Hollies, the 4 Tops, and more. This plaque was made for radio and music industry staff and owned by a radio DJ and station owner.
CashBox was a U.S. music industry physical trade magazine that published-- somewhat controversial at times-- track and album charts based on some combination physical sales, jukebox plays, and airplay, from July 1942 to November 1996. It continues today as an online magazine.
