Billboard plaque celebrating the Hot 100 for week of Aug. 17, 1968. On this week, "Good Lovin'" by the Rascals sat at #1 on the chart. The plaque has a special metal plate on the bottom proclaiming "#1 in the nation" as well. Other highlights from the top 10 that week included the Steppenwolf at #3 with "Born To Be Wild", Jose Feliciano with "Light My Fire", and Donovan with "Hurdy Gurdy Man". Further down the list were tracks that would soon rise up from the Rolling Stones, Vanilla Fudge, Booker T. & the MGs, and more.
