RIAA 4x Multi-Platinum Album Award for Billy Ray Cyrus album Some Gave All. The album was released on May 19, 1992 and by Sept. 22, 1992 was certified 4x Multi-Platinum by the RIAA.

The album contained "Achy Breaky Heart", which went to #1 in several countries, including in the U.S. where it spent five weeks in the top spot of the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. It also garnered Cyrus Grammy award nominations for Record of the Year, Best Country Vocal Performance, and Best New Artist. Other hits "Could've Been Me", "Wher'm I Gonna Live?" and "She's Not Cryin' Anymore" helped the album to #1 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart. Detailed Item Description: This RIAA 4x Multi-Platinum award is a first presentation award that would have been manufactured in 1992 making it 30 years old. It is presented to Dan Phippen, a promotions and marketing executive who worked with TVT, Mercury, MCA and others.

This award is in VG to Excellent condition with only minor mars on the plexiglass and frame. It is all original with unopened backing paper, Ill Eagle manufacturer's sticker and all correct components.

Notes on the condition of all vintage RIAA awards like this one: Please do not buy this item if you want a brand new piece of memorabilia. These are historical artifacts from the year they were produced. As a result they may show signs of wear. Frankly, if you see a 20 to 50-year-old award purported to be in 100% perfect condition, it might be too good to be true. After all, an antique should have "good' wear. If not, you might want to question the piece.

As to where they came from, they could have been displayed in record label offices, recording studios, artist manager's offices, radio stations, private collector's homes and yes, of course, possibly the artist's or songwriter's home.
