Detailed Item Description: This RIAA Gold LP award would have been made between 1966-68, making it about 57-59 years old. The award is presented to lead singer of The Animals Eric Burdon. Burdon also later was lead vocalist for the War, including singing on their hits "Spill the Wine", "Tobacco Road", a cover of the Stones "Paint It Black", and "They Can't Take Away Our Music" among other tracks.
Despite its' age this award is in VG condition. There are a few minor mars on the wood frame as is expected. The disc, album miniature and presentation plate are in Very Good condition. The backing paper was replaced at some point.
