RIAA Platinum Album Award for Radiohead album Kid A. Released on Oct. 3, 2000 the album went Platinum for one million copies sold on Feb. 13, 2001, which this award celebrates.
Kid A was the group's fourth studio album. It debuted at #1 on the UK Albums Chart, and also became Radiohead's first #1 album on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart. It scored top spots on many other world charts and won a Grammy award for Best Alternative Album, while being nominated for Album of the Year as well. Detailed Item Description: This RIAA Platinum album award is a first presentation award that would have been manufactured sometime in 2001 making this award approximately 20 years old. This award is presented to Jonathan Lev of The Brenner Group, a promotions and marketing executive who worked with rock, pop and alternative artists including Radiohead, Interpol, The Strokes, A Perfect Circle, Godsmack, Incubus, Nirvana, U2, Pearl Jam, Coldplay, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and many more.
The award is all original with Jewel Box Platinum manufacturer's sticker on its back. This award is in VG to Excellent condition, with only a very minor mar or two on the frame and plexiglass.

These are historical artifacts from the year they were produced. As a result they may show signs of wear.
