BPI (British Phonographic Industry) Triple Platinum Album Award for Oasis album Be Here Now presented to and signed by Noel Gallagher. Released in August 1997 in the UK, it was certified "Triple Platinum" by the BPI on Aug. 1, 1997 for 900,000 copies sold. Signed on the back by Noel Gallagher, he writes: "Them's was the days!! (heart) Noel Gallagher" Autograph certified by Beckett Authentication Services (BAS) with QR code serial number authenticity sticker on the back of the award.
The album contained the hit single "D'You Know What I Mean?", which went to #1 in the UK, Finland, Ireland, Spain, and top 5 in Italy, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, and the U.S., plus other singles "Stand by Me", "All Around the World", and "Don't Go Away". The album reached #1 in the UK, #2 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart, and charted in over a dozen other countries.

Detailed Item Description: This is a BPI Triple Platinum Album award that was manufactured in 1998, making it approximately 26 years old. It is presented to Oasis guitarist/singer/songwriter Noel Gallagher, who has also signed the back of the award.
The award is all original and in VG condition, with only a very few minor mars on the frame and plexiglass. It also has its' original Century Displays manufacturer sticker on its' back. Don't miss this terrific piece of Oasis history!

Notes on the condition of all vintage awards like this one: Please do not buy this item if you want a brand new piece of memorabilia. These are historical artifacts from the year they were produced. As a result they may show signs of wear. Frankly, if you see a 20 to 50-year-old award purported to be in 100% perfect condition, it might be too good to be true. After all, an antique should have "good' wear. If not, you might want to question the piece.
As to where they came from, they could have been displayed in record label offices, recording studios, artist manager's offices, radio stations, private collector's homes and yes, of course, possibly the artist's or songwriter's home. Typically, we don't know all the places they may have been over the years other than what we've stated in the description.
