This truly one-of-a-kind framed Led Zeppelin collage features autographs from all four members, John Bonham, John Paul Jones, Jimmy Page and Robert Plant. John Bonham autographs are alone extremely difficult to find, and to have all four is utra rare. Bonham added "Best Wishes" to his autograph.
The signatures have been authenticated by Roger Epperson (REAL). Epperson is considered one of the foremost rock autograph experts in the world, and in addition to his own operation, often does authentications for Beckett and JSA. One source identifies this set of signatures as having been obtained during Zeppelin's June/July 1980 European tour. In other words, among the last concerts prior to John Bonham's untimely passing in September that year. The autographs were situated on one sheet of somewhat brittle and slightly yellowed paper that was cut apart. They have been mounted using all acid-free materials.
The collage also features a matted in copy of Led Zeppelin's 1970 III LP, one of the most creative album covers in their illustrious catalog of album artwork.
An excellent piece of Led Zeppelin history with the very rare feature of having all four original member's signatures and it also serves as a great way to pay tribute to the memory of John "Bonzo" Bonham (1948-1980) .
Don't be fooled by other Led Zeppelin "signed" items on the Internet or in stores, since their autographs are one of the most counterfeited around. Ask to see a COA/LOA from top authenticators like JSA (James Spence Authentication), PSA/DNA, Beckett or REAL (Epperson). You'll find that most sellers won't be able to provide this.
