This very large and impressive award features platinum records along with the various album covers for artists mentioned above, including Jay-Z releases Reasonable Doubt, The Blueprint, The Dynasty: Roc La Familia, In My Lifetime Vol. 1, Vol. 2: Hard Knock Life, and Vol. 3: The Life & Times Of S. Carter, along with Beanie Sigel's The Truth, The Reason, DJ Clue albums The Professional, Backstage Mixtape, and Memphis Bleek's debut and Coming Of Age albums. It also has a printed (not original) Jay-Z autograph and message reading "Thanx 4 your support 16 million and counting!! -Jay. Z"

Detailed Item Description: This combo Jay-Z and Roc-A-Fella Records RIAA 16x Multi-Platinum award would have been manufactured around 2002, making it about 21 years old. It is presented to David "Big Daddy" Clark, who worked in promotion for Def Jam and other labels.
This award is in VG condition with minor mars on the plexiglass (including a scratch on the upper left corner) and frame, some minor ripples on the metalized coating on a few record edges (see image for example) and a minor nick on one corner. Take a good look at all the photos to see the condition of this award. It presents very nicely despite these minor flaws. It is also all original with Ill Eagle manufacturer sticker on its' backing paper.

Notes on the condition of all vintage RIAA awards like this one: Please do not buy this item if you want a brand new piece of memorabilia. These are historical artifacts from the year they were produced. As a result they may show signs of wear. Frankly, if you see a 20 to 50-year-old award purported to be in 100% perfect condition, it might be too good to be true. After all, an antique should have "good' wear. If not, you might want to question the piece.
As to where they came from, they could have been displayed in record label offices, recording studios, artist manager's offices, radio stations, private collector's homes and yes, of course, possibly the artist's or songwriter's home. Typically, we don't know all the places they may have been over the years other than what we've stated in the description.
