Guns N' Roses RIAA Gold Music Video Award for Use Your Illusion I & II, World Tour 1992 In Tokyo. Both released on Dec. 8 , 1992, the long form music videos were certified Gold by the RIAA for 50,000 copies sold on Feb, 9, 1993 and May 13, 1994, respectively.

Detailed Item Description: This is a first presentation dual RIAA Gold Music Video award that would have been manufactured in 1994, making it approx. 28 years old. The award is presented to Tom Zutaut, an A&R executive with Elektra and Geffen Records who famously signed Motley Crue, Guns N' Roses, Dokken, Tesla, Edie Brickell, Enya, and others. This award is in VG condition with minor mars on the frame (and a small chip out of one back corner) and plexiglass. It has its' original backing paper with manufacturer's sticker from Fitzgerald Hartley.

Notes on the condition of all vintage RIAA awards: Please do not buy this item if you want a brand new piece of memorabilia. These are historical artifacts from the year they were produced. As a result they may show signs of wear. Frankly, if you see a 20 to 50-year-old award purported to be in 100% perfect condition, it might be too good to be true. After all, an antique should have "good' wear. If not, you might want to question the piece.
As to where they came from, they could have been displayed in record label offices, recording studios, artist manager's offices, radio stations, private collector's homes and yes, of course, possibly the artist's or songwriter's home. Typically, we don't know all the places they may have been over the years other than what we've stated in the description.
