RIAA 7x Multi-Platinum Album Award for Nelly album Country Grammar. Released on June 27, 2000, on July 18, 2001 it was certified 7x Multi-Platinum by the RIAA.

The debut album from St. Louis based rapper Nelly, it produced the hits "Country Grammar (Hot Shit)", which reached #7 on the Billboard Hot 100 and UK Singles Chart, along with "E.I.", "Ride wit Me" and "Batter Up". The album topped the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart, staying there for five weeks, and sold well in many other world markets. Detailed Item Description: This RIAA 7x Multi-Platinum award is a first presentation award that would have been manufactured in 2001 making it 22 years old. It is presented to Rachel McClusky of McClusky & Associates, a long time independent record promoter who worked with many record labels.

This award is in Good to VG condition with minor mars on the plexiglass and frame, and tears on the backing paper. It is all original but manufacturer sticker is not present.

Notes on the condition of all vintage RIAA awards like this one: Please do not buy this item if you want a brand new piece of memorabilia. These are historical artifacts from the year they were produced. As a result they may show signs of wear. Frankly, if you see a 20 to 50-year-old award purported to be in 100% perfect condition, it might be too good to be true. After all, an antique should have "good' wear. If not, you might want to question the piece.

As to where they came from, they could have been displayed in record label offices, recording studios, artist manager's offices, radio stations, private collector's homes and yes, of course, possibly the artist's or songwriter's home. Typically, we don't know all the places they may have been over the years other than what we've stated in the description.
