RIAA 3x Multi-Platinum Album Award for Fleetwood Mac album The Dance. The album was released on August 19, 1997 and was certified 3x Multi-Platinum by the RIAA for three million sold on June 27, 1998.
This live album marked the return of the band's most successful line-up of Lindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood, Christine McVie, John McVie, and Stevie Nicks. The five members had not released an album together since 1987's Tango in the Night. Live versions of "The Chain" and "Landslide" reached various chart positions and the album itself debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart. Detailed Item Description: This is a first presentation RIAA 3x Multi-Platinum Album Award made in 1998, which makes it approximately 26 years old. It is presented to Tony Florentino of WTVR, who also worked in numerous other radio stations as a program director.
The award is in VG condition with only minor mars on its frame and plexiglass. It also has its original backing paper although the manufacturer sticker is missing.

Notes on the condition of all vintage RIAA awards like this one: Please do not buy this item if you want a brand new piece of memorabilia. These are historical artifacts from the year they were produced. As a result they may show signs of wear. Frankly, if you see a 20 to 50-year-old award purported to be in 100% perfect condition, it might be too good to be true. After all, an antique should have "good' wear. If not, you might want to question the piece.
As to where they came from, they could have been displayed in record label offices, recording studios, artist manager's offices, radio stations, private collector's homes and yes, of course, possibly the artist's or songwriter's home.
