RIAA Gold Award for Five Finger Death Punch album American Capitalist. Released on Oct. 11, 2011, the album was certified Gold by the RIAA on Oct. 9, 2012 for 500,000 copies sold.
The group's third studio effort featured the singles "Under and Over It", "Back for More", "Remember Everything", "Coming Down", and "The Pride". It reached #3 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart and did well in Canada, the U.K., and several other countries as well. By 2017 it was certified Platinum by the RIAA for one million copies sold. Detailed Item Description: This RIAA Gold award is a first presentation award with fantastic artwork (which is the great alternative artwork issued for the album) that would have been manufactured in 2012, making this award approximately 12 years old. The award is presented to a former marketing and promotion executive who worked at EMI Capitol Records. Their name has been obscured in the photos for privacy. A letter of provenance from this executive will be provided with purchase. Provenance letter can be seen in images with executive's name obscured. Item buyer will receive a non-obscured copy of the letter.
It is all original and in VG condition with unopened backing paper and Ill Eagle manufacturer sticker.

Notes on the condition of all vintage RIAA awards like this one: Please do not buy this item if you want a brand new piece of memorabilia. These are historical artifacts from the year they were produced. As a result they may show signs of wear. Frankly, if you see a 20 to 50-year-old award purported to be in 100% perfect condition, it might be too good to be true. After all, an antique should have "good' wear. If not, you might want to question the piece.
As to where they came from, they could have been displayed in record label offices, recording studios, artist manager's offices, radio stations, private collector's homes and yes, of course, possibly the artist's or songwriter's home. Typically, we don't know all the places they may have been over the years other than what we've stated in the description.
