RIAA Gold Album award for Duffy album Rockferry and singles "Mercy", "Stepping Stone", and "Warwick Avenue". The album was released on May 13, 2008, and was certified Gold just a month later on June 26 for 500,000 copies sold.
The debut for the Welsh singer made a huge splash with the three singles listed above, with the album reaching #2 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart and #1 in the U.K. and many other markets worldwide. It won a Grammy award for Best Pop Vocal Album in 2009 and three BRIT Awards, including Best British Album.

Detailed Item Description: This is a first presentation RIAA Gold award that would have been manufactured in 2008 making it 15 years old. The award is presented to radio station WLNK.
The award is in VG to Excellent condition with only minor wear on the frame and a few mars on the plexiglass. It is all original and while the label has fallen off, adhesive residue on the back would make it likely that it was made by Jewel Box Platinum.

Notes on the condition of all vintage RIAA awards like this one: Please do not buy this item if you want a brand new piece of memorabilia. These are historical artifacts from the year they were produced. As a result they may show signs of wear. Frankly, if you see a 20 to 50-year-old award purported to be in 100% perfect condition, it might be too good to be true. After all, an antique should have "good' wear. If not, you might want to question the piece.
As to where they came from, they could have been displayed in record label offices, recording studios, artist manager's offices, radio stations, private collector's homes and yes, of course, possibly the artist's or songwriter's home.
