Rare, original Isle of Wight Pop Festival concert poster from Aug. 31, 1969 with headliner Bob Dylan and The Band. An incredible line up at this fest beyond Dylan and The Band as well with The Who, Joe Cocker (& The Grease Band), Pretty Things, Free, Moody Blues, Richie Havens and more on the bill. King Crimson was billed but did not appear. It was quite the event, what with Beatles John Lennon, Ringo Starr, Elton John, Eric Clapton, Keith Richards, Syd Barrett (Pink Floyd) and many other stars in attendance among the crowd of 150,000.
Original poster is in Very Good condition with no visible tears, only some wrinkling. Is accompanied in the frame by an original "Help Bob Dylan Sink The Isle of Wight on August 31st" sticker. Poster measures approx. 8.25" x 10.25". Nicely displayed in a frame with overall size of approx. 12" x 17". Extra original different "Help Bob Dylan Sink The Isle of Wight" also included.
