CashBox™ plaque celebrating the Top 100 for week of April 17, 1971. On this week, Jeremiah the bull frog shouted from the rooftops that Three Dog Night's "Joy To The World" sat at the top of the chart on this week in '71. Other highlights from the top 10 included Marvin Gaye's "What's Goin' On" and tracks from Neil Diamond, a newly solo Paul McCartney, the Jackson 5, and more. This plaque was made for radio and music industry staff and owned by a radio DJ and station owner.
CashBox was a U.S. music industry physical trade magazine that published-- somewhat controversial at times-- track and album charts based on some combination physical sales, jukebox plays, and airplay, from July 1942 to November 1996. It continues today as an online magazine.
