From Underwood's third studio album Play On, the song reached #1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and #31 on the Hot 100. It was also nominated for a Grammy award for Best Female Country Vocal Performance. By 2013, the track was certified at Platinum by the RIAA for one million digital copies sold.

Detailed Item Description: This RIAA Gold Digital Single award is a first presentation award that would have been manufactured around 2010 making it approximately 13 years old. It is presented to Pete Ganbarg, who has held various executive roles in the music industry including President of A&R at Atlantic Records and President of ATCO Records, among others.
The internals are all original but the award has been reframed using UV protection glass in place of the original plexiglass. It is in VG to Excellent condition, with only very minor blemishes on the frame.

These are historical artifacts from the year they were produced. As a result they may show signs of wear. Frankly, if you see a 20 to 50-year-old award purported to be in 100% perfect condition, it might be too good to be true. After all, an antique should have "good' wear. If not, you might want to question the piece.
As to where they came from, they could have been displayed in record label offices, recording studios, artist manager's offices, radio stations, private collector's homes and yes, of course, possibly the artist's or songwriter's home.
