Detailed Item Description: This RIAA Platinum award is a first presentation award that would have been manufactured in 1978, making it approximately 45 years old. Undoubtedly one of its' best features, it is presented to Jimmy Buffett himself.
It is all original in Good to VG condition considering its' 45 year-old age with frame wear, some mars and scratches on its' plexiglass, and some matte fading. It's backing paper is original with Creative Glassics manufacturer's sticker but it was cut on three sides at some point, likely to effect some sort of repair. The cuts have been taped to help prevent dust intrusion.

These are historical artifacts from the year they were produced. As a result they may show signs of wear. Frankly, if you see a 20 to 50-year-old award purported to be in 100% perfect condition, it might be too good to be true. After all, an antique should have "good' wear.
