RIAA Gold Award for Five Finger Death Punch albums The Way Of The Fist and War Is The Answer. Released on July 31, 2010 and Sept. 22, 2009 respectively, the albums were both certified Gold by the RIAA on April 13, 2011 for 500,000 copies sold.
The Way Of The Fist, the group's debut reached #107 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart but gained steam with the heavy metal/groove metal outfit's success. War Is The Answer, the second album from 5FDP, debuted at #7 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart. By 2016 War Is The Answer was certified Platinum by the RIAA for one million copies sold. Detailed Item Description: This RIAA Gold award is a first presentation award that would have been manufactured in 2011, making this award approximately 13 years old. This award is presented to a former marketing and promotion executive who worked at EMI Capitol Records. Their name has been obscured in the photos only for privacy.
It is all original and in VG condition with unopened backing paper and Ill Eagle manufacturer sticker.

Notes on the condition of all vintage RIAA awards like this one: Please do not buy this item if you want a brand new piece of memorabilia. These are historical artifacts from the year they were produced. As a result they may show signs of wear. Frankly, if you see a 20 to 50-year-old award purported to be in 100% perfect condition, it might be too good to be true. After all, an antique should have "good' wear. If not, you might want to question the piece.
As to where they came from, they could have been displayed in record label offices, recording studios, artist manager's offices, radio stations, private collector's homes and yes, of course, possibly the artist's or songwriter's home. Typically, we don't know all the places they may have been over the years other than what we've stated in the description.
