Elton John is our Artist Of The Month for March 2026! Born on March 25, 1947, Sir Elton John is one of the most successful and enduring artists in popular music history. Born Reginald Dwight in Middlesex, England, he showed prodigious musical talent at an early age.
Rising to fame in the early 1970s through his songwriting partnership with lyricist Bernie Taupin, he delivered classic albums such as Goodbye Yellow Brick Road and countless hit singles. Known for his flamboyant stage costumes and powerful piano-driven performances, He has sold over 300 million records and remains a global music icon and philanthropist who continues to score hits today with artists such as Dua Lipa, Miley Cyrus, Ed Sheeran and others.
